This is a romantic sailing trip along the coast of Slovenia and Italy to the beautiful Miramare Castle with the beautiful and tragic story of its owner, Prince Maximillian of Habsburg.
Setting sail from Portorož's central pier, we will first walk along the Slovenian coast and see beautiful views of the ancient Slovenian towns of Piran and Izola. Not every tourist gets the chance to enjoy the views of these cities from the sea. But you will have such an opportunity, and believe me, the impressions and photos will be unforgettable!
We will then set course for the Bay of Trieste, where we will enter Italian territorial waters. After passing by the once richest city, which was one of the reasons for Italy's involvement in World War I, admiring the huge ocean cruise liners and the city sloping down to the sea, we will head towards the destination of our journey, the Miramare Castle.
On the way, we will stop for a swim and lunch on board (optional).
During the trip you can relax in the fresh air or in the cabin, but if during the trip you want to learn the basics of marine science and yachting, our captain will gladly show you the equipment of the yacht, tell you how to work with the sails, catch the wind, tack and even trust the helm.
